Karen (Yelo Spa Lead Trainer) is a NY Licensed & Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. She is responsible for training YeloSpa practitioners to insure a consistently excellent customer experience. Karen contributes to making YeloSpa a successful luxury spa by developing unique treatments and training protocols for staff. She brings 20 years of natural healing, high end spa experience, and an extensive private practice which includes many celebrities and C-level clients.Drawing from her work in music, publishing, radio, and arts management, Karen is adept at melding five star service with authentic wellness. As a warm and friendly healer, she specializes in reflexology, aromatherapy, fertility massage, and uses her knowledge in herbalism, bioacoustics, flower essences, Ayurvedic bodywork and Native American and shamanic traditions to support her client’s needs. Karen is also a certified prenatal therapist and trained as a doula, a placenta encapsulation specialist, and is a happily blissful Vipassana Meditator. Taisha is a New York State LMT and a graduate of the Swedish Institute in NYC. Receiving her associates degree in occupational studies in August 2011, she has developed her practice incorporating both eastern and western modalities. Her specialties include deep tissue massage, swedish massage, reflexology, and prenatal massage. On her free time, Taisha continues her career as a professional musician and has found massage therapy to be the perfect balance. “I have always been able connect with people and help them through my music. With Massage Therapy, I can connect with my clients on a more spiritual and emotional level and create an optimal healing environment.” Taisha continues to grow in her practice here at Yelo, getting her inspiration from her coworkers and clients. “To me, it is the best gift in the world to be able to help people through the stress and challenges of everyday life.”
Helen has been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. She graduated from the Swedish Institute here in NYC. Integrating skills she learned there and her intuitive sense of touch brings a holistic healing experience to her clients. She hopes to bring mobility, freedom and consciousness to the body by being present and using an array of modalities to accomplish this. She mostly utilizes Swedish technique, deep tissue, trigger points, reflexology and is also trained to do pre-natal massage. She enjoys seeing people realize the potential they possess for well-being. While she tries keeping her own health in a state of balance, she thoroughly enjoys French pressing Stumptown coffee with a piece of dark chocolate sitting on the bottom of the mug.
Jessica is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, earning an AOS in massage with a focus in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She currently assists classes in Thai massage, Swedish massage, and essential oils at her Alma mater. She also studies Hung Ga Kung Fu in her free time. She believes in wellness as a collaboration between client and therapist. Beth received her associates degree in occupational science from the Swedish Institute in August 2009 and has been a New York State lmt ever since. Beth is proficient in western and eastern modalities such as swedish and shiatsu massage. Beth recently received her certification in prenatal and postpartum massage. Her style combines classic swedish and deep tissue techniques with a goal of bringing a sense of peace and tranquility to each client.
Rossella: Doing bodywork since 1988, I became licensed by the State of New York in 1995. My 20 years of experience as a bodyworker in New York, Brazil, and the West Indies includes upscale, high profile, and innovative healing establishments. I balance my work in the healing arts profession with my passion for Capoeira; an Afro-Brazilian Martial Art. I hold the title of “Professora” and presently teach Capoeira at New York University. Through bodywork and the martial arts, I maintain a healthy, active, and positive lifestyle that benefits me and shines through to the people I work with.
LeLand is a New York State LMT with over a decade in the business. Specializing in Deep Tissue work, he likes to think of himself as a “Spasm Assassin”. LeLands work is informed by training in Shiatsu, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Myo-facial Release, and Ortho-Bionomy.

Nadiya is a Healing Arts practitioner with over 30 years combined experience with the skin and bodywork. Beginning in the late 1970’s in skin care in her native Ireland, she has worked in Paris and New York and has had many celebrity clients and people from every walk of life have benefited from her calming, healing touch. Nadiya is a certified yoga & qigong teacher with over 10,000 hours of teaching experience. Her curiosity and devotion to her esthetics work are enhanced by her ongoing research and studies of how natural, plant-based ingredients improve the quality of the skin. Nadiya’s philosophy is “to nurture is my great privilege and joy.”
